My calendar is booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, it is best to inquire about my availability as soon as you have a planned date. A limited number of orders are accepted; it is best to provide notice as soon as possible, as inquiries are often received for dates 2 - 6 months in advance. I require a minimum of two weeks' notice for small cakes, cookies, and sweets, and six weeks for larger or more complex commissions should I have availability remaining. That being said, I cannot guarantee prices or availability until the retainer is received.

All quote requests must be made through the "Contact Us" link on the website or via email. Please provide as much information as possible to help me better understand your needs and provide you with an accurate quote. Should I require additional information, I will reach out to you. Quotes are valid for a 2-week period, provided the date remains available. Once the quote is accepted, an invoice with payment information will be emailed to you.

For custom orders a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your order and reserve your date. The remaining 50% is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date. For all custom orders less than 1 month or any holiday preorders, full payment is required. Please note that the date will not be reserved and order will not be confirmed until retainer or full payment is received. If payment is not received within 48 hours, the invoice will be canceled, and the date will be released.

The Creative Atelier is based in Palgrave, Ontario and delivers to most parts of the Greater Toronto Area and Simcoe County. Delivery is subject to availability and is highly recommended for 2-tier cakes and larger to accommodate design delicacy and ensure smooth transportation. Delivery charges are calculated based on distance and estimated amount of time it will take to deliver.

I do not replicate cakes designed by other cake artists, as I prefer to create original designs and respect copyright. Additionally, I do not work with logos or copyrighted characters. However, I am happy to use any pictures or mood boards you provide for inspiration and to understand the style you're looking for.

I DO NOT offer nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, sugar free or gluten free cakes. My cakes should NOT be consumed by individuals with anaphylaxis or severe allergies to gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and other common food allergens as all are present in the production kitchen. I can not guarantee non-cross contamination of allergen agents.

There are no refunds on retainer or payments. If you need to cancel or change the date, you must with a minimum of 14 days before the pickup or delivery date. In this case, your payment will be credited toward a future order, subject to availability within one year of your original order date. Date change in this case will only be accommodated once. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the event will not receive a refund or credit, and the order cannot be rescheduled.

Cake tasting sample boxes will be offered for purchase twice a year. Each box includes a variety of 6 flavor combinations. For orders over $800, the $60 cost of the tasting box will be credited to your invoice if you choose to place an order for your cake. Please inquire by email for the next offering date.

You can request a faux tier to enhance the grandeur of your cake design, but please note that the price will not be lower than that of a real cake tier. This is because the time, materials, and effort required to create and incorporate a faux tier into the design are similar to those of a real tier, ensuring a high-quality and cohesive finished product.

All custom orders that are less than one month, require full payment to confirm the order. Orders more than a month require a 50% non-refundable retainer fee to confirm the order and book the date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the pick-up/delivery date. If full payment is not received two weeks prior, the order will be cancelled, and the client will not receive a refund. At this time, payment is only accepted through e-transfer. Orders will not be confirmed, and date will not be saved until payment has been received.

Cancellations made less than two weeks before the event will not receive a refund or credit, and the order cannot be rescheduled. Any orders cancelled less than 2 weeks from the pickup delivery date will be cancelled with no refund or date change. *Exception may be considered based on extraordinary circumstances such as provincial restrictions. This will be at the discretion of The Creative Atelier.

The Creative Atelier Studio is located in Palgrave (northeast of Hwy 9 and Hwy 50) L0N1P0. Order pick-up is by appointment only. Delivery can be arranged based on availability. Delivery fees will be determined by the mileage between your venue and my studio. Pick up is not advisable for tiered cakes. Cakes are packaged with care to ensure minimal movement during transport, however, if you choose to pick up your tiered cake, I cannot be responsible for any damages to your cake after the cake has left my premises.

The Creative Atelier Studio is NOT nut free. All products may contain or come into contact with nuts, tree nuts, dairy, wheat, gluten, soy, and other allergens.
